As 2022 continues to be an extremely busy time for Lifespan Structures we are pleased to announce that Steven Dunn has recently joined to further strengthen our specialist team.

A civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in providing technical and commercial support to Clients, specifiers and contractors he has strong knowledge in specialist areas including structural concrete repair, structural strengthening utilising carbon fibre plate (CFRP), composites, adhesives & ultra-high modulus plates.

His first involvement in this specialist area was with steel plate bonding on highways structures before being involved in the first large scale use of CFRP plates in 1996 with CRL at Kings College Hospital. In the late 1990’s this was followed by other projects including 11km of CFRP plates on the M40 Loudwater viaduct & then several LUL steel & cast-iron bridges.

As an experienced professional he is particularly passionate about delivering industry leading standards of service to bridge owners, partners and clients.

His role at Lifespan will include conducting technical CPD seminars, undertaking site inspections, producing feasibility reports, assisting in the development of conceptual designs through to the manufacture, supply & installation of a Lifespan sustainable resin infused composite bridge within the infrastructure market.
