Refurbishment work has been taking place on two canal footbridges in Droitwich to replace the old worn wooden decks with 2 new Lifespan FRP bridges. The project involved several logistical challenges & the bridges were installed from a barge mounted crane.
The Little Hill Court footbridge was 18m in span & 1.2 wide with a 9m approach ramp and the King George Fields footbridge was 18m in span & 2.4m wide.
